My name is Anna Gustafsson and I live in Jänsmässholmen in northern Offerdal. A unknown, but a very nice and beautiful part of Jämtland.
The journey here has not been straight forward. I was born in Gothenburg, grew up in Germany and lived in Switzerland, France and Italy before moving to Sweden and Gothenburg in 2011 and then to Stockholm 2014.In the summer of 2017 I hiked the Green Ribbon, a hike of 1350 km between Grövelsjön and Treriksröset. It was because of that hike that I later that autumn moved from Odenplan in Stockholm to Jänsmässholmen – a village with 25 people at the foot of the mountain and by the start of the road. You can read more about the hike in my blog (English).
I am educated in engineering physics and have worked both in research, as a consultant and in industry. You can find more about my professional life here .
So now I live in Jämtland and work with what is available and fun! This sometimes becomes a funny mix of tasks, but I have, among other things, built hiking trails, worked in hotels, helped out in reindeer husbandry, created websites and sold both digital and printed images.
